Water Your Dreams
“Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success. Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success. Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream.” ― Lao Tzu
There Are Men Too Gentle to Live Among Wolves
THERE ARE MEN TOO GENTLE TO LIVE AMONG WOLVES
A Poem by James Kavanaugh
There
are men too gentle to live among wolves
Who prey upon them with IBM eyes
And sell their hearts and guts for martinis at
noon.
There are men too gentle for a savage world
Who dream instead of snow and children and
Halloween
And wonder if the leaves will change their
color soon.
There
are men too gentle to live among wolves
Who anoint them for burial with greedy claws
And murder then for a merchant's profit and
gain.
There are men too gentle for a corporate world
Who dream instead of candied apples and ferris
wheels
And pause to hear the distant whistle of a
train.
There
are men too gentle to live among wolves.
Who devour them with eager appetite and search
For
other men to prey upon and suck their childhood dry.
There are men too gentle for an accountant's
world
Who dream instead of Easter eggs and fragrant
grass
And search for beauty in the mystery of the
sky.
There are men too gentle to
live among wolves
Who toss them like a lost and wounded dove.
Such gentle men are lonely in a merchant's world.
Unless they have a gentle one to love. There are men too gentle to be among wolves
Who toss them like a lost and wounded dove.
Such gentle men are lonely in a merchant's world.
Unless they have a gentle one to love. There are men too gentle to be among wolves
Who toss them like a lost and wounded dove
Such men are lonely in a merchant’s world
Unless they have a gentle one to love.

Emotional Currents
"By choosing your thoughts, and by selecting which emotional currents you will release and which you will reinforce, you determine the quality of your light. You determine the effects that you will have upon others, and the nature of the experience of your life." ~ Gary Zukav

A Loner
“Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.” - Jodi Picoult

The Path
"Our first impression of life, when we start thinking about it is that it is a long stretch of obstacles. In very pragmatic terms it is so. Then we also gradually realize that something in us is instigating, initiating and responding and that we are changing; that we are following some sort of a path. Then we soon realize that the obstacles ARE the path." - Pradeep Pk Maheshwari

Soul Mission
“Your soul mission is your reason for being, your life purpose. It’s your calling in life—who you feel called to be, what you feel called to do. Mission is an energy that flows through you—a drive, voice, or passion that you cannot ignore. Your mission is not an activity, but rather your fundamental reason for doing that activity. It’s what you know in your heart you must live if you are to experience inner peace and harmony” – Alan Seale

Service & Love
"In life, it is never the big battle, the big moment, the big speech, the
big election. That does not change things. What changes things is every
day, getting up and rendering small acts of service and love beyond that
what's expected of you or required of you." ~ Cory Booker
